I’m Shannon (she/her) of Very Shannon - a Canadian knitwear design company that focuses on modern, mindful and relaxing knits.
I am continually inspired to create designs that are easy to wear, rich in texture, and that allow makers to have fun and feel confident in both my patterns and their skills.
I hope that my designs find their way onto your needles and into your gorgeous handmade wardrobes and that they encourage you to slow down, take a breath and sink into the rewarding process of slow fashion.

ABOUT ME
I'm a knitwear & sewing pattern designer and author. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada with my husband, two daughters and dog Charlie. I enjoy sewing, knitting, fitness, reading, and being at the ocean.

I love to design patterns for the modern knitter & sewer. With their engaging textures and striking lines, my fun, dynamic garments and accessories are destined to become wardrobe staples.

I'm the co-author and co-publisher of Within (Marian Rae Publications, 2016), Seasonless (Marian Rae Publications, 2014) and Journey (Marian Rae Publications, 2013), and co-publisher of Island (Marian Rae Publications, 2012).
