that i find a way to put this up in my home somewhere.......
to be thankful....for all the little moments in life.....
to organize my wool this fabulously......
to get my hands on one of these pyrex striped bowls......
that you all have a lovely weekend.
gobble, gobble, gobble! happy thanksgiving to all you canadian folks this weekend! are you going to be eating up some turkey? we're doing ham in the slow cooker, it's my hubbies delicious recipe. so good! don't you just love slow cookers? i think the slow cooker is underestimated and underused a lot. there are a heck of a lot of things that can be made in a slow cooker. yummy. now i'm hungry..haha.
this weekend we are going to enjoy the 3 day long weekend, firstly to be thankful for all that we have been blessed with and secondly because it's our last weekend before the hubs begins intensives studies again as well as full time accountant hours. eeekk! can you hear my shrieks? i'm scared. freaked out. we're hoping all of the home organization we are doing and streamlining of our home and routines will help me out since i will be alone with the 2 girls a lot. any of you have hubbies with long hours or ones that are away a lot? what do you do to help deal with the daily routines?
we've had some gorgeous weather here lately, it's been warm, but also crisp. the leaves are starting to fall and my pine cone obsession will be topped up for holiday decorating time. i love me some pine cones. they are all over my house. i put them everywhere. i think i'm going to try a pine cone garland this year, it's one of the decor projects on my list for a long time now. all the weather changes have had me longing for tea, hot chocolate and my knitting needles. this could be bad news for our comfy sews VS. cozy knits....i'm still not sure which way i'll side but as of right now, the knit slippers won me over.
i hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thanks for all of your wonderful home remedy tips yesterday - they were fabulous and so sweet of you to take the time to tell me them. i'm going to try some this weekend and hopefully our little house of colds will be no more.
what are your plans for the weekend? what's fall making you crave? will you be knitting, sewing or both? come share your thoughts, you know i love hearing what you are all up to!
