i've been so excited to share today's FREE knitting pattern! the barbara cowl is here!
i was over the moon to be able to design this pattern for sweet georgia yarns using their brand new yarn - trinity worsted (70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% silk). you all know how much I love cashmere and you mix that with sweet georgia yarn and color and i'm in heaven!!!! the barbara cowl only takes 2 pretty skeins! the perfect indulgence pattern. you know we all deserve a little cashmere in our lives....
barbara is a squishy, comfy and reversible infinity cowl perfect for layering that looks great worn single or double looped. barbara is sure to be a “go-to” cowl in your wardrobe. barbara is knit flat to allow you to try on your cowl as you knit to get the best length for your height and body type. the barbara cowl showcases the subtleness of hand dyed yarn and is a satisfying project perfect for a beginner and beyond. the broken rib pattern is easy to memorize and fun to knit.
those of you who know me know that i love sweet georgia yarns and so do my knitter pals. we heart felicia and her wonderful, bright, bold and gorgeous line of fabulous yarns! the fact that she is located in vancouver, bc is just icing on the cake since it's so close i can actually see felicia occasionally and embrarass her by hugging and fawning over her beautiful yarns. she is so talented and her yarns are stunning. if you haven't knit with sweet georgia yarns you should definitely try. you'll be addicted - trust me! so yarn yummy!!!
